April 2006 to September 2007 my son DaVinte Grice was deployed to Iraq. As any Christian mother would do I prayed. While in prayer I could feel the power of God moving mightily. The first Saturday morning of each month I would meet with a group of women for wailing prayer. During this time we would lay on our personal blankets to pray fervently. Unknown to me, God had a plan for this blanket. God led me to this blanket while at home. I wrapped the blanket around me and began praying over it; speaking in tongues and anointing it with blessed oil. I was led to give this blanket to my son before he boarded his flight from Jacksonville, Florida to Iraq. I explained to him my experience with God and the blanket. DaVinte took the blanket understanding that it was blessed by God. Upon his return home one year later he told me how this blanket blessed many others in his company. DaVinte explained that members of his company asked to touch his blanket in the midst of the battle once they learned that it was anointed and blessed. As time passed, I continued anointing and praying over blankets as I spent time with God. Still unaware that God had alternate plans for my blankets. Having worked at a state mental institute for nearly 24 years I lost my job due to a budget cut. In addition to losing my job, I found myself going through a separation from my husband of 20 years which eventually ended up in divorce. Within three years, my world spiraled! It went from stability and consistency to great pain and stress. During this time, I found comfort, peace and contentment as I wrapped in my Prayer Blanket. In this blanket I cried out to God even through my pain I wanted Him to help others who were hurting desperately. At this time, I could feel the power of God as if it had fallen like fire from Heaven. Tongues, weepings and wailings had consumed me; His presence and Glory filled the house. I found healing and peace for my pain while wrapped in my Prayer Blanket.
On December 4, 2013, my mother (Lucille Akins) had a stroke and was air lifted to Tallahassee Memorial Hosptial. While at home waiting for paramedics to come and transport my mother, I found myself walking the floor praying. My three siblings and two of her sisters were there and witnessed my mother passed out actively having a stroke. My mother face twisted to the side, her speech was slurred and her eyes rolled back into her head. During this time, I had given my mother a Prayer Blanket knowing the power and healing stored in it. My mother kept this blanket as she laid in the Emergency Room. Needless to say, an ICU room was not needed for my mother; her speech cleared and she shows no paralysis from the stroke. At 78 years old, my mother is strong, healthy and healed. She is living a complete life doing what she loves which is cooking, baking cakes and praising God.
Three months after my mother's healing God spoke to me. He said you've got to share what I've blessed you with; the Anointed Blankets!! He spoke to me from Mark 5:25-32; The woman with the issue of blood was healed by touching Jesus garment. Jesus never touched her. It was her Faith! It is by this very faith I am reaching out to those who are sick or have drug and/or alcohol addiction, also for marriages to be restored, and those in need of a financial blessing from God.
